Limited Edinburgh Fringe ‘Insider’ Consultancy Slots for 2026 Now Available.
Are you bringing a production to Edinburgh Fringe this August? Or thinking of bringing one? Then I am pleased to announce that in 2026 I will again be offering a limited number of Edinburgh Fringe ‘Insider’ Consultancies. From now until August I have a number of slots available, all of which cover attracting media interest (both online and print), refining press releases, ensuring marketing opportunities are maximised, as well as constructive creative observations.
With more than 40 years experience at the Edinburgh Fringe as an actor, award-winning director/producer (with shows that transferred to Broadway, New York, and Toronto, Canada, post Edinburgh Fringe), and with two decades at the helm of the Edinburgh Evening News’ Fringe/Festivals desk as Entertainment Editor, I can advise you on the best ways of navigating the Edinburgh Fringe landscape; how best to promote your show; imagery, how best to engage media and social media and give a unique ‘insider’s’ take on how to short cut and survive the world’s largest arts festival.

However, don’t just take my word for it, have a read of this testimonial from the award-winning Sadie Pearson, Hen Ryan, and Grace Shropshire, co-founders of Full Frontal Theatre, who I consulted with on their 2024 Fringe show, To Watch A Man Eat.
“Liam Rudden’s support for our first Edinburgh Fringe was invaluable. He cast an expert eye across our production and went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was rewarding. An expert in the industry, he had tricks of the trade that we would never have been let in on had we not worked with him. We left Edinburgh having sold every show at above 90% capacity – many sold-out – and with a number of five-star reviews from both the festival and our preview. The show went on to have a life in London.
‘Getting interviews with cast into regional papers, getting us in touch with great press and helping us refine our punchy marketing were just some of the brilliant things we couldn’t have achieved without Liam. More than just his professional role, however, he was a great support and friend – instilling a confidence in us and our production which has lasted beyond the Fringe.’

All consultancies will be tailored to suit your requirements and are in person. For more details and to start a conversation, email liamruddenmedia@gmail.com
