Edinburgh King’s Panto 2026: Homecoming Cast Revealed

Grant Stott, Allan Stewart & Jordan Young

THE newly redeveloped Edinburgh King’s Theatre is woven into the very heart of the adventure for the King’s Panto’s return to the Old Lady of Leven Street after an absence of four years.

In Toy Toon, May Geppetto and Pinocchio are desperately trying to raise enough money to reopen their beloved King’s, leading them to join the Great Stromboli’s travelling puppet show when he promises them a share of the takings. But when the money is stolen, Pinocchio must set off on an adventure to recover it, save the theatre and prove he has what it takes to become a real boy.

A magical homecoming, The Adventures of Pinocchio runs from 28 November 2026 to 17 January 2027 bringing back Edinburgh pantomime favourites  Allan Stewart as May Geppetto, Grant Stott as the evil Stromboli and Jordan Young in the title role of Pinocchio along with Clare Gray and Gail Watson and introducing musical theatre star CJ Borger as Jiminy Cricket.

Returning for her eighth year, Gray plays the mischievous Kitty the Cat, after enchanting audiences with her lovable Pat the Cow in Jack and the Beanstalk last year, while Bonnyrigg’s Gail Watson will play Phyllis the Fox.

Produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, this spectacular pantomime adventure promises toe-tapping song and dance numbers, jaw-dropping special effects, fabulous costumes, laughter, magic and plenty of mayhem.
