One of the best loved novels of all time, Little Women, comes to thrilling life on the stage of the Festival Theatre this week.
Featuring an all-star cast of telly favourites including Honeysuckle Weeks of Foyle’s War fame and Jack Ashton, of Call The Midwife, led by Belinda Lang, best known for 2 point 4 Children, Anne-Marie Casey’s new adaptation of the classic story offers a rendition of Little Women that breathes new life into the story.
Coming to the Festival Theatre in a production focuses on the enduring journey of the March sisters – tomboy Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and spoiled Amy – as they navigate the challenges of the Civil War era, forging unbreakable bonds of love and family. It highlights sisterhood, courage, ambition and follows them as they progress into womanhood.

Ahead of her arrival in the Scottish capital, Lang shares the piece of theatre that didn’t so much change her life as give her life.
