Three more stars return to Edinburgh’s big panto, Jack and the Beanstalk

This Christmas, Edinburgh’s Capital Theatres’ pantomime, produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, will see the return of pantomimes favourite Clare Gray, Gail Watson and Amber Sylvia-Edwards alongside regulars Allan Stewart, Grant Stott and Jordan Young.

Jack and the Beanstalk, the last pants to take to the Festival Theatre from 13 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, ahead of the annual festive extravaganza returning to its traditional home, The King’s Theatre, after its redevelopment.

Returning for her seventh year, Clare Gray will play the lovable Pat the Cow, in contrast to the wicked Vindicta Fortuna in Cinderella last year.

Bonnyrigg born and bred Gail Watson also returns for her third ‘King’s panto’ following her role as Manipulata Fortuna in Cinderella. This year the River City star plays the mythical Spirit of the Beans, guiding Jack on his sky-high climb.

Finally, after enchanting audiences in her pantomime debut as Cinderella last year, Coatbridge-born Amber Sylvia Edwards returns to the stage as the charming Princess Jill.

Veteran Dame Stewart will return as Dame May McTrot, with Stott once again giving his Fleshcreep and Jordan Young raising laughs as Jack Trot

Jack and the Beanstalk  tickets here.
